The Menci Eros Company, founded to 1978, is located in Castiglion Fiorentino, a delightful small town in the Val di Chiana near Arezzo. Today, the Arezzo industrial district boasts about 1700 goldsmith studios and companies.

In 1970 Eros Menci began his apprenticeship with various gold firms in Arezzo. In 1978 he decided to found a gold studios of his own and began producing exclusive and unique handmade jewelry.
As the company grew during the 1980's, Eros Menci taught the secrets of his art to his employees and collaborators. During this time the company's market was predominantly Italian, enjoying both commercial success and artistic recognition from the national press. Of particular hilight were two pieces of jewelry created by the artists Riccardo Dalisi and Noboru Tsubaki, for the "Oro d'autore" exibition, in 1992 and 1993.

Despite the early 1990's Italian economic crisis, the Eros Menci Company continued to be innovative in its artistic production, rigorously producing new jewelry lines and succesfully conquering the international market.
In the meantime the company has grown even more (including the addition of two Ero's two children, Ermanno and Eleonora), always mantaining its high standard of artistic craftsmanship.

And today, by combining the ancient goldsmith's tradition with the technology of the Internet, the Menci Eros Company is able to meet the demands of the global market.
